Michael Coren's amazing speech targeted at Mahmoud Ahmadinejad
Daniel Pipes appears on The Arena with Michael Coren, Sun News Network
Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad addressed the United Nation's General Assembly on Monday in what would seem to have been an attempt to downplay the threat of the Iranian nuclear programme. UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon met Ahmadinejad on Sunday to warn him off his usual incendiary rhetoric prior to Monday's appearance, a pre-emptive rebuke that obviously fell on deaf ears (note the irony).
After telling reporters that Israel (though he only ever uses the term 'the Zionists') has no roots in the Middle East and would be eliminated, his actions brought with it repercussions welcomed by many Western allies. Michael Coren, a Canadian-based news presenter, explains it best in this video in which he succinctly exposes Ahmadinejad's most outrageous and delusional comments, wonderfully highlighting the immorality and bizarreness of the international community to let this madman draw attention to himself on the international stage.
