Free Cornwall!

Is this what the European Free Alliance want Europe to look like?

Have a look at this map.

Now, I'm as anti-EU centralisation as the next guy, but this is just silly.

The European Free Alliance, a political party in the European Parliament seems to have restructured the continent to according its members' wishes.

The map denotes the secesation of Scotland, Wales and Cornwall from the United Kingdom, while it seems Northern Ireland has been merged into Eire. Controversial.

Also, France loses half of its land mass (no bad thing) but absorbs parts of Belgium which has become fully erased (no bad thing). Spain is now 6 micro-states too.

Unsurprisingly, the group is made up of members from the Scottish Nationalist Party, Plaid Cymru and other separatist movements across Europe. What I can't help but wonder is why their sole Austrian member party, Unity List, would want their own country annexed by Germany?

File this one under 'odd'.
