The Commentator and friends lay wreath outside Margaret Thatcher's home in London
Our short and respectful wreath laying outside the home of Lady Thatcher this afternoon
The Commentator was deeply saddened to learn of the death of one of the greatest leaders this world has ever known.
As a tribute to the great lady, The Right Honourable The Baroness Thatcher, former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, The Commentator this afternoon congregated a group of those she inspired to lay a wreath outside her house in Chester Square, London.
Our wreath, and our portrait of the great lady, were today used on the homepage of the New York Times website. We're grateful to every single one of you who helped make this happen, ensuring a respectful and dignified day.
Below is a picture of Executive Editor Raheem Kassam and numerous admirers of Margaret Thatcher's outside Chester Square, prior to laying the wreath.
We are wholly dependent on the kindness of our readers for our continued work. We thank you in advance for any support you can offer.
