Fatah leader's car bombed in Gaza
Reports have suggested that attacks on Fatah in Gaza are becoming more commonplace
Assailants have bombed the car of a Fatah leader in the southern Gaza Strip.
The Ma'an News Agency has reported that the attackers planted a 500-gram explosive device targeting the car of Monther al-Bardawil outside his home in Rafah at dawn on Monday. The reports came via police spokesman Ayman al-Bandakji.
Witnesses said that the explosion shook the neighborhood.
The Fatah official's car was damaged but no injuries were reported. Al-Bandakji said police had opened an investigation into the incident.
Earlier in April, assailants set fire to the car of Fatah's secretary-general Mahmud Hussein in the Hamas-run Gaza Strip.
The car of a Fatah leader was torched in the southern Gaza Strip on April 18th.
Fatah condemned the attack and vowed to prosecute the perpetrators.
