Parliament Street CEO Egged by Thugs at Tory Conference
High-flying senior Conservative Patrick Sullivan assaulted by protestors during live TV broadcast at Tory Conference, as yet more violence ensues from Leftist agitators
A top Tory has been viciously assaulted by egg throwing protestors at today’s Tory conference in Manchester. Patrick Sullivan, a high flying member and Chief Executive of UK think tank Parliament Street was splatted on the head during a live television interview with reporters.
A friend said: “Patrick was in the middle of a broadcast interview responding to the Chancellor’s speech. The next thing you know a grubby protestor slapped an egg on his head.”
“I’m not even sure they were free range,” added the witness.
Former councillor Clare George-Hilley was also attacked by the protestors. She said: "I would like to thank the Manchester Police for dealing with these thugs in an efficient and professional manner."
The protestor was later wrestled to the ground by officers and arrested. Witnesses gave evidence to the Police.
Leftist agitators have been roaming the streets around the Conference venue and hotels where delegates and journalists are staying. Other violent incidents have been reported to the police.
