Andrew Rosindell MP has called for the National Anthem to be sung inside the main conference zone at Conservative conference in a new video published online

Speaking to 200 guests at the annual Parliament Street think tank reception in Manchester, the Romford MP praised guests for their commitment to the Conservative cause and keeping the tradition of singing the national anthem alive.

“I congratulate Parliament Street for making sure that at least once during this conference we sing our national anthem. When Mrs Thatcher was in charge we always sang the anthem and I hope we do so again.

“There is one thing more important than politics, that’s our country,” he added.

Patrick Sullivan, CEO at Parliament Street thanked Rosindell for his support and congratulated members on another game-changing conference for the popular think tank.
